CMAC Wrestling on the Rise

In recent years, the CMAC has seen wrestling participation and success go from zero to one hundred real quick. So far this season, we've seen Aiken, Hughes, Shroder & Western Hills participate in a number of invitationals and duels.

This marks an impressive milestone for the CMAC as wrestling has taken a back-seat to basketball in recent memory. That all is soon to change, as we've seen some tremendous leadership step up & take initiative in regards to the revival of varsity wrestling programs.

It also helps when you have student-athletes like Aiken's Keoni Jones (SR) who's started the season hot with a 13-4  (10 pins) record in the 170 weight class!

Also contributing to the success is Western Hills' Reggie Taylor-Benton (SR) who's currently 9-2 (6 pins) in the 285 heavy-weight class!

CMAC Wrestling is on the rise fast! Make sure you talk to your school's Athletic Director if you are interested in contributing!
