Taft to Host Playoffs Again

What a season! After an exciting 10 week football season, we have a new CMAC Champion, who will also represent the CMAC in the OHSAA Playoffs!

Congratulations to Taft High School!

After beating rival, Aiken High School on Friday night by a score of 28-8, Taft clinched the CMAC Championship, going undefeated in conference play at 7-0. As the seniors for the Senators celebrated an extraordinary high school career, they knew they'd have at least one more week to defend their home in Stargel Stadium.

On Saturday, November 3rd, the Taft High School Senators will play host to the London High School Red Raiders at Stargel Stadium at 7:00 pm in the first round of post-season action!

London is coming off of their first loss of the season and will be in unfamiliar territory on Saturday as they'll come to Taft for the first time since the CMAC was formed.

Taft, however, is getting used to playing in the post-season, as this will be their fourth straight playoff appearance. While Taft has not been able to get past the Regional Quarter-Finals, this year feels special while in current Stargel Stadium's final days.

Make sure you come out to support CPS Athletics, the CMAC and the Taft Senators as they look to send Stargel Stadium out in style and make a deep run!

Game Day - Saturday, November 3

Game Time - 7:00 pm
