Return of the #CMACTakeover

In the past week, the CMAC Takeover was in full affect across the city! On the boy's side of things, we saw four CMAC basketball teams reach the District Semi-Finals, with two power-houses playing against each other (again)! Take a look below at who reached the District Semi's and who is moving on!

Gamble Montessori was defeated by Little Miami on a buzzer beater on Saturday night. Kaden Warner had 28 points for Gamble in a back-and-forth-game! The Gators battled hard all year long and have a lot to look forward to as they only lose one senior!

Aiken took down the CHL champs, Wyoming on Saturday night with a nine point victory to advance to the District Championship! Jakada Stone and D'arris Dean led the way for the Falcons, each tallying 20+ points. Aiken is back in action at the University of Dayton Arena on Thursday, March 7 at 5:30 pm against Archbishop Alter.

Hughes went head-to-head with their CMAC rivals, Taft Senators for the third time this season! After splitting the first two match-ups, the teams combined for over 150 points in an exciting game at Mason High School. While the Big Red fought hard, the ultimately fell short. Hughes returns two CMAC first-team selections next year in Paul McMillan IV and Cam McKenzie.

Taft advanced past Hughes with a 10 point victory, led by Chris'seon Stringer on both sides of the ball! The Senators will play for a District Championship at the University of Dayton Arena on Thursday, March 7 at 9:30 pm against Dayton Northridge.
