The Aiken Falcons rolled into the Rumble on the River at Taylor HS on December 7th looking to avenge their 12th place finish from last year.  With the help of filling 12 weight classes and having 3 champs at the end of the day they were able to do that and in a BIG way.

In the first round they were able to win 7 matches.  The biggest came from Camren Hollingsworth who was able to pin his opponent in the first period in just 30 seconds.

Heading into the 2nd round Aiken continued their dominant performance and won 9 matches!  The biggest of which came from 160lb'er Edward Johnson.

In the 3rd round Aiken won another 7 matches. 152 lb'er Taylor Joyner and HW Jawonya Johnson both pinned their opponents early in the 1st period to keep the Falcons in the hunt for placing in the top of the tournament.

When the dust settled and the tournament was over Aiken came away with 3 tournament champs, 106lb Avery Young, 138lb Malik Graham and HW Jawonya Johnson.  Runner up 120lb Herbert Rodgers, 3rd place 145lb Juan Garcia and 4th place 195lb Keyon Ward. The Falcons finished with 237 team points and a runner up finish for the event!  The Falcons will be back in action December 14th at North College Hill!
