Joyeuse Muhorakeye Balances Internship and Cross Country

Not only is Joyeuse Muhorakeye a tremendous runner for the Aiken Falcon's Cross Country Team but she also balances her time as a fall intern for Democracy & Me.  Coach Aaron Parker says that "Joyeuse is an amazing student, athlete and person.  As an intern at WVXU, she is a part of a team of students who develop and produce podcasts about social and political issues ranging from the back to school Coronavirus controversy to self-identity to hero’s in our lives and the importance of the 2020 Census.  She is an international student who came to the USA as a refugee from Rwanda."  The challenges of learning a new language or training for a half-marathon have not deterred her from striving for excellence in all she does.  The CMAC congratulates this fine student athlete for her accomplishments on and off the field!
