Paris Morrow

Aiken - Senior
Cross Country

Paris has shown his Senior leadership throughout our cross country season. Paris has been a consistent presence at practice demonstrating great effort. Recently, Paris has utilized his voice to provide feedback and direction to his teammates. Paris has improved in each meet he has participated in this season. Paris is respected by his teammates and reciprocates that respect to each.


Monoj Moktan Tamang

Aiken - Freshman
Cross Country

Monoj joined our cross country team midway through the season. Catching up and getting into shape is not easy to do, but Monoj accepts and meets those challenges with determination. Monoj's post race reflections of "never giving up, never quitting, and improving" are exactly what the sport of cross country are all about. In the classroom, Monoj is focused and task-oriented to learn and understand and not just get his work done by asking questions and seeking clarification. Monoj possesses all the qualities of a future Falcon leader.


Isha Rai

Aiken - Freshman
Cross Country

Isha completed her first cross country race at our CMAC Championship. Isha joined our cross country team part way through the season and showed commitment and optimism throughout. As a 9th grader, Isha is demonstrating the qualities of a student that should put her to the top of her class by being active in her participation, inquiry-driven, and collaborative with her classmates.


Payal Subba

Aiken - Freshman
Cross Country

The CMAC Championship was Payal first cross country meet, and Payal gave it her all! Payal has been a faithful attendee at practice even though she joined halfway through the season. In the classroom, Payal demonstrates the creativity, humor, and insight that is reserved for the most remarkable of our students. Being new to Aiken, Payal will continue to excel in the niches she finds, but we are glad one of those niches is Aiken Cross Country!


Amma Saad

Aiken - Freshman
Cross Country

Amma is the consummate teammate though her team-building planning and innate supportive nature. Amma understands that whole of our cross country team is greater than the sum of its individual parts. By joining our cross country team, Amma found a community of that reciprocates that support. Amma's vocal leadership and strong provides a needed backbone to our team as we grow and develop our competitiveness.


Mame Ndiaye

Aiken - Sophomore
Cross Country

When Mame joined our cross country team, we gained an optimistic teammate who provided maturity, leadership, and grit to our team. By joining our team in the latter half of the season, Mame had some conditioning to catch up with, yet Mame did not let that variable stop her from her participation. In each race, Mame showed improvement with her times, while being able to reflect positively on her own improvement and her team's success. In the classroom, Mame is a GE Scholar and is writing a bilingual Illustrated Memoir children's book to be published that may or may not involve a "chicken as a birthday present." We will see!
